Hi Everyone

After 35 years of Barbering (26 years with my own shop on Sharrowvale) I have decided to retire.

I have been lucky enough to meet 'Holly' and she is taking over the business starting on Thursday 25 June.

Holly is just like me but taller, younger & prettier !!

Holly, like me, is a properly trained barber who has served her time.

Traditional barbering is her mainstay but as a younger girl she has more of a grasp of current trends.

Holly loves a chat and will fit in great with all my customers and the great Sharrowvale community.

I'm off to retire to rural Worcestershire. I've got a big garden to look after and a little tractor to drive around on.

It's a bungalow that needs a lot of work so I will be able to keep my hands busy.

I've had a great 26 years at the shop with great customers who have become great friends.

Keep booking as usual on the website you will be fine with Holly.

We operate an appointment system that allows you to get your haircut at a time to suit yourself.

The system we have allows our customers to feel safe and avoid the queuing and waiting that has been a feature of a visit to the barbers for 100 years.

Just turn up a few minutes before your appointed time.

We are still able to accept a very few walk in customers where we have an empty shop and a free time slot.

How does it work?

We have a new button in the booking system for CANCELLATION WATCH.

If we are fully booked, for example in the run up to Christmas. This allows a customer to let us know that they would be interested in any cancellations that should come along.

When we get a cancellation the customer receives a text message & if they wish, can book in for the vacant slot.

We do get cancellations when people can't get in due to hospital appointments, job interviews & the like.

This system allows us to fill any vacant spaces & help out a customer who is looking to get an appointment.

About the shop

A traditional Barber Shop that has been established 26 years. Specialising in male grooming. 

The shop was totally refurbished during lockdown and a new ventilation system was introduced that constantly changes the air within the shop.

The thorough cleaning regime introduced during covid remains in place.

We are determined to give you a haircut in the safest possible conditions.
